Dominique and Bob’s day was intentionally intimate. A quiet civil elopement in Wigan, shared only with their closest family. Having already celebrated their marriage in a grand Italian style, this moment was about simplicity, presence, and purpose. Though rooted in uniting their Canadian and British lives through the documentation required for their visa, the day carried its own quiet magic. It’s a process I know personally, having navigated the same path with my own non-British husband. A beautiful, understated chapter in their story, centred on love, family, and the life they are building together, and I am so grateful to have been present.
